Portland Pirates Reassign Scott Arnold to Gwinnett (ECHL)

Portland, Maine - Phoenix Coyotes Assistant General Manager and Portland Pirates General Manager Brad Treliving announced today that the Pirates have reassigned forward Scott Arnold from the Portland Pirates to the Gwinnett Gladiators of the ECHL.

The 6-foot-2, 205 pound Arnold played in 2 games during his most recent stint with the Pirates. In 10 games with Portland this season, Arnold has registered 2 assists as well as 11 penalty minutes. Arnold has appeared in 32 games with Gwinnett this season, scoring 8 goals and adding 12 assists to go with 20 penalty minutes. Arnold also appeared in 2 playoff games for the Gladiators, tallying 1 goal and 1 assist during the first round of the Kelly Cup playoffs against the South Carolina Stingrays.

The 23-year-old native of Pointe-Claire, Quebec was signed by the Phoenix Coyotes as an undrafted free agent in 2012.
