Cleveland, OH--Andrew Agozzino scored the game-winning goal with 90 seconds remaining to lead the Lake Erie Monsters to a 4-3 win over the Admirals Thursday.

Agozzino carried the puck into the offensive zone and shot the puck from the top of the right circle over the left shoulder of Admirals goalie Marek Mazanec just 26 seconds after the Monsters claimed a 3-2 lead.

Milwaukee's Austin Watson deflected a Pontus Aberg shot from the slot into the net for his tenth goal of the season to make it 4-3 in the Monsters favor but the Admirals could get no closer.

The Admirals grabbed an early lead when Felix Girard deflected a shot from the point into the net for his third goal of the season at 12:04 of the first period. Triston Grant was able to move the puck from the right corner to Taylor Aronson at the point. Aronson sent a wrist shot to the goal with much traffic in front of Lake Erie netminder Roman Will and Girard was able to tip it into the net.

Milwaukee made it 2-0 at 17:48 of the first period with a power play goal. Miikka Salomaki passed from the right point to Brendan Leipsic in the right corner. Leipsic threaded a pass through the crease to Aberg in the left circle and Aberg buried his 11th goal of the season. It was Aberg's fifth power play tally of the campaign.

The Monsters cut the deficit in half at 17:21 of the second period when Mitch Heard corralled a loose puck in front of the Admirals net and roofed it over the right shoulder of Mazanec.

Lake Erie tied the game with 6:37 remaining in regulation when Paul Carey deflected a shot from Heard for his seventh goal of the season.

Stefan Elliott gave Lake Erie the lead with a power play goal with 1:56 remaining in the game.

The Admirals visit Rochester Saturday night. Milwaukee's next home game is against Chicago Friday, December 26 at 7 pm.
