
Admirals Reassign Mike Little to ECHL Florida

NORFOLK, VA - The Norfolk Admirals announced Monday that the team has reassigned defenseman Mike Little to the Florida Everblades of the ECHL. Little was originally recalled on loan from Florida on November 30.
Little, 26, was scoreless in three games played with the Admirals during his recall. He has posted nine points (1g, 8a) and a +7 rating in 19 games played with the Everblades this season. The 5-9, 185-pound blueliner totaled 34 points (8g, 26a) in 64 appearances with the Stockton Thunder last season. In addition, Little chipped in seven assists in 23 postseason games to help lead the Thunder to a Western Conference championship. Little set career highs in points (41), goals (10), and assists (31) in 70 games played for Stockton during the 2011-12 season.
The Enfield, CT native registered 32 points (5g, 27a) during his four-year collegiate career at American International College from 2007-2011. Little attended Norfolk's training camp this past September and appeared in one preseason game against Charlotte.
On Tuesday, Norfolk battles the Binghamton Senators in a big East Division matchup beginning at 6:05 p.m. Fans can tune into the game on 1490 AM *The Game*, or online at http://1490amthegame.com/home/listen-live/
The Admirals return home this Friday and Saturday to square-off against the Bridgeport Sound Tigers. On Friday, the first 2,025 fans will receive the second series of the Admirals trading card set!
