Admirals Reassign F Mathieu Curadeau to IHL Fort Wayne

NORFOLK, VA - The Norfolk Admirals have reassigned forward Mathieu Curadeau to the Fort Wayne Komets of the IHL, Admirals General Manager Mike Butters announced today.

Curadeau, a 6-foot-1, 185-pound native of Montréal, Québec, has appeared in 18 games with the Admirals this season, scoring his first two career AHL goals to go along with an assist and 21 penalty minutes. Curadeau attended Admirals training camp and appeared in three preseason games, scoring one goal and one assist with six penalty minutes. Curadeau signed an AHL Standard Player's Contract with the Admirals on August 27.

Curadeau has appeared in 14 games for the Komets this season, scoring 13 goals and seven assists to go along with a +2 rating and 16 penalty minutes.

The Admirals' nine-game homestand continues this week with a Wednesday tilt against the Hershey Bears and a Friday matchup with the Lake Erie Monsters. Opening faceoff at Scope for both games will be at 7:15 p.m.
