Columbus Assigns Center Craig MacDonald

Syracuse, NY (January 18, 2009) - The Syracuse Crunch announced today that the Columbus Blue Jackets have assigned center Craig MacDonald to the Crunch.

MacDonald, 31, has appeared in 31 games for the Crunch this season, tallying eight goals, 11 assists and 33 penalty minutes. He has also skated in eight games with Columbus this year, notching one goal and one assist.

A native of Antigonish, Nova Scotia, MacDonald was signed by Columbus as a free agent on July 14, 2008.
