Admirals Acquire Plant, Recall Lane

Milwaukee, WI - The Milwaukee Admirals announced today that the team has acquired defenseman Adam Plant from the Laval Rocket in exchange for future considerations. In addition, the Admirals have recalled forward Matt Lane from the Atlanta Gladiators.

A second-year pro from Penticton, BC, Plant has an assist in 14 games with the Laval Rocket and has also skated in four games with the Maine Mariners of the ECHL. Plant played four years of collegiate hockey at the University of Denver where he totaled 12 goals and 42 assists for 54 points in 154 careers games.

This is the third recall of the season for Lane, who has played in 11 games for Milwaukee this season. In 28 games with Atlanta he has six goals and 12 assists for 18 points.

The Admirals return to UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena on Tuesday night to face the Texas Stars at 7 p.m., the opening game of a three-game homestand.
