Adirondack's Bordson Named CCM ECHL Player of the Month

PRINCETON, N.J. - Adirondack Thunder forward Rob Bordson has been named the CCM ECHL?Player of the Month for October.

Bordson scored six goals, added five assists and was a +4 in six games in October helping the Thunder to a 6-0-0 record during the month.

The 27-year-old had at least one point in five of his six games, including a pair of three-point games. He scored two goals and added an assist in a 5-4 win at Brampton on?Oct. 23 and he picked up a goal and two assists in a 4-2 victory over Manchester on Oct. 24. Bordson also added a pair of two-point games in?October.

A native of Duluth, Minn., Bordson leads the league with seven goals, four power-play goals and 13 points. He also has scored two game-winning goals in overtime, including earlier today at Kalamazoo.

Bordson has 64 points (24g-40a) in 45 career ECHL games with Adirondack and Trenton and he has added 104 points (41g-63a) in 320 career American?Hockey League games with Chicago,?Adirondack, Rochester and Syracuse.
