
Adam Bighill Picks up Weekly Award

(Vancouver) Following another standout performance by Adam Bighill in the Lions' 19-18 win over the Edmonton Eskimos on Saturday, the second-year linebacker has earned CFL Defensive Player of the Week honours.
Anchoring a Lions defence that allowed just four first downs and 72 yards of offence in the second half of last week's comeback win, Bighill notched three defensive tackles, two sacks and an interception.
Today's announcement marks the third time this season Bighill has taken home Defensive Player of the Week honours and he leads the club with 64 tackles on the year.
The Lions travel to Regina this Saturday to take on the Roughriders. Fans of the Leos can catch the action on the home of Lions football, TEAM 1410. Saturday's pregame show starts at 5:00 pm PT with kickoff slated for 7:00 pm.
The next Lions home game is Saturday, October 6th at 7:00 pm versus the Calgary Stampeders presented by Pepsi.
