LAS VEGAS, Nev.-Ryan Roberts hit his fifth home run and drove in four runs for the Aces, but a six-run 51s fourth-inning doomed Reno, which fell 9-5 to Las Vegas Saturday night at Cashman Field.

The Aces fell behind 3-0 early in the game before clawing back in the third on a Roberts RBI walk, but would strand the bases loaded in the frame. The 51s answered with a six-run fourth, however, extending their lead to 9-1. Reno fought back throughout the evening, threatening on several occasions, but ended up leaving 14 men on base in the loss.

Wes Roemer (1-4) suffered the loss after the 51s roughed him up for nine runs-eight earned-in just four innings of work. Four Aces relievers kept the Aces close, but the early deficit proved too much to overcome.

Josh Roenicke (3-0) earned the win for Las Vegas in relief of starter Luis Perez, who tossed the first 4.1 innings and gave up three earned runs despite walking five Aces hitters.

Roberts finished 2-for-4 with four of Reno's five RBIs on the evening. Mark Hallberg finished 1-for-4 with an RBI, while John Hester added a hit and a run scored.

The Aces wrap up their three-game set against the 51s Saturday evening, sending RHP Bryan Augenstein (4-7, 6.19 ERA) to the mound to face 51s LHP Zach Jackson (2-1, 4.38 ERA). First pitch is set for 7:05 p.m. PT from Cashman Field, and all the action can be heard live in Reno on Fox Sports Radio 1450 AM or online at RenoAces.com.

Reno returns home Sunday, July 4, at 6:35 p.m. for a sold-out Fourth of July game against Sacramento. Tickets for Monday through Wednesday's games are still available by calling the Reno Aces box office at (775) 334-7000 or by visiting RenoAces.com. The brand-new Freight House District, located just outside Aces Ballpark, is open seven days a week, on both game days and non-game days.
