In Utica, NY, in the first game of the Aces only true homestand of the season. The Aces out hit the Cutters 6-5, to win a close game 2-1. Aces' pitcher Angel Miranda picked up his first win of the season, while New Haven pitcher, Wes Mindingall suffered his second loss. Each team committed an error in the first game of their double-header.
