Aces Acquire Forward Alex Grieve from Ft. Wayne

ANCHORAGE, AK- The Alaska Aces are pleased to announce the addition of Alex Grieve to the training camp roster.

President of Hockey Operations and Head Coach Rob Murray made the announcement Tuesday.

The 25 year old Grieve, a native of Calgary, Alberta, Canada, comes to Alaska from the Ft. Wayne Komets in a completion of an earlier trade for Justin Hamonic. The 6' 194 pound Grieve made a brief appearance for the Quad City Mallards last season after completing a stellar college career at Bentley.

He was an AHA rookie of the year and second-team all conference player in college, scoring 55 goals with 73 assists for 128 points in 139 games.
