ECHL Announces Fine, Suspension

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL on Tuesday announced that Allen's Mike DiPaolo has been suspended for three games and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Preseason Game #P-11, Allen at Wichita, on Oct. 10.
DiPaolo was assessed a game misconduct under Rule #40.4 for Physical Abuse Category III at 5:55 of the second period.
DiPaolo will miss Allen's games vs. Quad City (Oct. 16), vs. Tulsa (Oct. 17) and at Tulsa (Oct. 18).
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.
