
AAA All Star Teams Announced

Winnipeg, Manitoba -- The Manitoba AAA Midget Hockey League is pleased to announce the players selected to play in next month's all-star game in Kenora.
The game, presented by the Western Hockey League and Super 8 Motels, is slated for the Kenora Arena Complex on February 7th at 2 p.m.
Among the forty players selected were three Brandon Wheat Kings' prospects - Wheaton King and Michael Ferland of the AAA Wheat Kings as well as Jens Meilleur of the Central Plains Capitals.
Ferland and King were two of four Brandon players named to the Western All Star Team while Meilleur was one of four members of the Capitals to be chosen.
Entering the final four weeks of the regular season, Ferland is fifth in league scoring with 29 goals and 57 points while King is sixth with 55 points including 24 goals.
A 15-year old product of Elie, Manitoba Meulleur leads Central Plains in scoring with fourteen goals and 33 points.
Among the others selected to play in next month's game, which will feature a pre-game brunch and evening banquet are defencemen Joel Edmundson and Cayle Hutlet of Brandon, Southwest Cougars' Landon Hall and Luke Hill as well as Devon Speiss, Shaquille Merasty and John Lawrence.
