Berkshire Black Bears News Release
Like all winning streaks, the run of victories had to end for the Black Bears. They failed to pick up the series sweep as Les Capitales put a 6-spot (only 2 earned) on the board in the first inning and it was all downhill from there. The highlight for the game was Quebec starter Jeff Harris (2-0) throwing 8 scoreless innings, recording 6 strikeouts, walking one and allowing just 3 hits. The Black Bears, who have been shutout twice this season, earned some pride points in the ninth, picking up two runs of the Caps' closer Marc Cisar. Bo Acors, Doug Dimma, Shane Waroff and Dan Adams all threw in the loss for Berkshire.
