NEWARK, NJ, June 4-This evening's Atlantic League game between the Newark Bears and the Somerset Patriots has been postponed due to poor weather conditions. The two teams will make the game up tomorrow night as part of a double header, beginning at 6:05 PM.
Fans with tickets for today's scheduled game may exchange them for tickets to any other game on the Bears 2003 schedule. Exchanges may be made at the Bears box office at Bears and Eagles Riverfront Stadium. The Bears ticket office number is (973) 483-6900.
Right-hander Tom Stepka (1-2, 3.33) and right-hander Tim Keinath (1-1, 2.86) will pitch for the Bears on Thursday. Somerset will counter with left-hander Scott Navarro (1-1, 1.76) and right-hander Steve Falteisek (0-0, 6.43).
