A New Partnership Between Cf Montréal and DAZN
August 14, 2021 - Major League Soccer (MLS)
Club de Foot Montreal News Release
MONTREAL - CF Montréal announced on Saturday that they have kicked off a 1 year, 2 season corporate partnership with the sports streaming platform DAZN, as a corporate partner.
The sponsorship agreement fits within the Club's brand positioning strategy and its commercial expansion, and the objective to team-up with the best partners possible in different categories.
This partnership, the first of its kind for DAZN in Canada, was born in order to further grow football culture in Montreal, as well as in the province of Quebec and to ensure CF Montréal fans don't miss a second of action. As part of this engaging and innovative agreement, CF Montréal and DAZN will jointly activate in-stadium advertising as well as local market events. With the consistent growth of fans of this sport across Quebec, we want to improve our bond with those fans in order to foster their sense of belonging to our brand and our product.
"This partnership represents a unique opportunity for our organization to be associated to a quality partner with a global reach, and who is also an integral part of the daily life of local soccer fans," said CF Montréal President & CEO Kevin Gilmore. "We are all the more proud that DAZN has chosen the Club for its very first partnership with a professional soccer team in Canada."
