San Angelo Colts News Release
San Angelo, Texas---The Colts made a series of moves on Saturday. It involved four players as San Angelo traded, released, signed and activated a few Colts.
San Angelo first activated Landon Camp, who has not played in just over a month since June 2, when he broke a bone in his hand; he was hitting .345 with four homeruns and 8 RBIs in 9 games. The Colts have also traded former Major Leaguer Francisco Cruceta to Brockton of the Can-Am League, who was 2-1, with 4 saves and a 1.29 ERA for San Angelo.
The Colts then released Butch Ballez, who played for San Angelo from 2009-10 and was just recently re-acquired, in order to sign righty Walt Goodline who most recently pitched for Cal State.
