WINNIPEG, MB – Slotback Milt Stegall is having one of the greatest individual seasons in CFL History.

Against Calgary Friday, Stegall (6-1, 185, Miami (OH) '91, DOB: Jan. 25, 1970 in Cincinnati, OH) scored three times to give him 22 total touchdowns for the year. The 22 scores tied the CFL record for most touchdowns in a single-season, set by former British Columbia Lions runningback Cory Philpot in 1995. Ironically, Philpot's coach that season was Dave Ritchie – Stegall's present head coach.

Stegall has the opportunity to obtain sole possession of the record, as the Winnipeg Blue Bombers have two games remaining in the 2002 CFL regular-season.
