Raptors 905 (4-1) enjoyed a record-setting morning, beating the Erie BayHawks (2-3) 145-103 Tuesday. The team's 145 points set a new franchise high, surpassing the previous total of 136. Toronto Raptors assignee Malachi Richardson led the 905 with 34 points, including 25 points in the first half, tying the franchise record for most points in a half. The Bayhawks' John Gillon had 21 points, three rebounds and three assists off the bench to lead Erie.
The 905 held the BayHawks to just 36 points and 26 per cent shooting from the floor in the opening 24 minutes, heading into the break with an 80-36 lead. The team's 45-point first quarter and 80-point half, set new franchise records in points in a quarter and half. This surpassed the previous highs of 40 and 78 points respectively. Erie posted 40 points in the third quarter, edging the 905 by three points; however, the 905 lead would prove insurmountable, as they cruised to a 42-point victory.
Raptors 905 head on the road to take on the Maine Red Claws in Portland on Thursday, November 15 at 7 p.m. The Erie BayHawks return home to face the Westchester Knicks on Friday, November 16 at 7 p.m.
