North Little Rock, AR - The Arkansas Travelers utilized a four-run seventh to come-from-behind and win 4-3 on Monday night at Dickey-Stephens Park.

Arkansas trailed 2-0 in the seventh with two outs and nobody on when 3B Brian Hernandez blasted a monstrous home run down the left field line. After RF Cal Towey and LF D'Arby Myers walked, CF Jared Mitchell tattooed a three-run go-ahead home run over the Travs bullpen in right to put Arkansas up for good.

RHP Kyle McGowin surrendered solo runs in the first and second innings, but did not allow a hit to the final 15 batters he faced, retiring 13 in a row after an RBI double in the second. McGowin tied a career-high with nine strikeouts over six three-hit innings.

RHP Austin Wood (W, 6-2) picked up his sixth victory of the season with 1.2 innings in relief of McGowin. Wood surrendered an unearned run in the eighth after catcher Stephen McGee threw a ball into left field on a double steal.

LHP Greg Mahle (S, 6) worked the four-out save with two strikeouts.

McGee reached three times with a double and two walks.

No Travs player had more than one hit.

Arkansas finished the homestand 4-2.

With the win and losses by Springfield and Tulsa, the Travs moved into a three-way tie for first place in the Texas League North second half standings at 9-9 heading into the off day. Arkansas is now 45-42 overall this season.

The Travs will head to Tulsa to begin a four-game series with the Drillers on Wednesday. First pitch for all four games is scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
