67's Stun Colts
March 6, 2010 - Ontario Hockey League (OHL)
Ottawa 67's News Release
Last night our 67's played a hard fought game against the top ranked Barrie Colts. Our boys came out fighting and jumped to an early 3-0 lead with goals by Andrew Merrett, Corey Cowick and Ryan Martindale. The three goal lead didn't last long though as Barrie fought to stay in the game. With the help of the high scoring duo of Tyler Toffoli and Cody Lindsay, along with the help of Thomas Nesbitt, the boys cruised to a 6-3 win.
The action didn't stop there though as the first intermission featured the Rainbow Cinemas Film Reel Challenge, a fun activity that scored the winner a season's pass to Rainbow Cinemas. The action continued as the second intermission featured the Atom "B" Kanata Gladiators in a future 67's game. Thanks to everyone who participated, you really kept us entertained!
We would like to thank all of our fans as we head towards the playoffs. Don't forget to join us next Friday, March 12th as we take on the Oshawa Generals. Keep an eye out for us, as we'll be writing to you, as always, from "In the Stands!"
