67's Add Veteran Scoring Punch with Acquisition of Joseph Garreffa

OTTAWA - The Ottawa 67's completed a trade with the Kitchener Rangers on Saturday, acquiring 20 year old forward Joseph Garreffa. In return, the Barber Poles send three third round picks to the Rangers; their thirds in 2021, 2022 and 2024.

Garreffa is an overage player who has been versatile throughout his OHL career with the Rangers, playing both the forward and defense positions. Last season, Garreffa put up 32 goals and 55 assists for a total of 87 points in 68 games. The Toronto native has combined for 225 points (72G, 153A) in 245 OHL career games. On top of being a dynamic offensive player, Garreffa also ended last season on an active 211 game iron man streak.

"Joseph Garreffa is a dynamic player who will provide additional experience, speed and creativity to our line-up", said 67's General Manager James Boyd.

Garreffa and the 67's will return to action as soon as Sunday afternoon, when they face off against the Hamilton Bulldogs at 2:00 PM inside The Arena at TD Place.
