67's Acquire Maple Leafs Prospect Braeden Kressler from Flint

OTTAWA - The Ottawa 67's have acquired overage forward, and Toronto Maple Leafs prospect Braeden Kressler, along with a pair of draft picks from the Flint Firebirds, today.

In return, Ottawa sends five draft picks in future Ontario Hockey League Priority Selections to Flint.

Kressler, who turned 21 yesterday, is a veteran of four OHL seasons, all with the Firebirds. The Kitchener, Ontario native has suited up in 33 games, this season, scoring 15 goals and 22 assists, for 37 points. He has been sharp on the faceoff dot as well, operating at 52.1 percent.

"Braeden is a top performing player in our league, who will fit in well with our group at the centre position," said 67's General Manager James Boyd. "His game adds speed, skill, and determination to our lineup.'"

Through 154 career games, Kressler has scored 54 goals and 69 assists, for a total of 123 points. He signed a three-year entry-level deal with the Maple Leafs as an undrafted free agent on October 1, 2021.
