
66ers Back on the Road to Face New Mexico

TULSA, Okla., Jan. 13, 2011- The Tulsa 66ers (16-6), fresh off a 2-0 showing at the 2011 D-League Showcase, travel to Albuquerque to take on the New Mexico Thunderbirds (11-10) this Friday and Saturday, Jan. 14th and 15th. Both games are scheduled to tip at 8:30 p.m. CT inside the Santa Ana Star Center.
The games can be viewed online for free via webcast at nba.com/futurecast and can be heard in Tulsa on KAKC 1300 AM.
The 66ers have won eight consecutive games dating back to Dec. 30 and currently sit atop the West Conference standings. The winning streak is the longest in 66ers team history.
Tulsa's last win came on Wednesday evening in South Padre Island against the Dakota Wizards, 96-92.
The Thunderbirds are coming off of a 98-87 defeat to the Main Red Claws on Tuesday at the Showcase.
Friday will mark the first matchup against the Thunderbirds this season. The 66ers split a pair of contests at home against New Mexico last season.
