
66ers Acquire Marcus Hill

Tulsa, Okla., February 27, 2009 - The Tulsa 66ers announced today the acquisition of former University of Tulsa star Marcus Hill.
Hill, a 6-5 guard, played 15 games for the 66ers during the 2005-06 season, averaging 3.0 points and 1.8 rebounds. Hill has also played professionally in Portugal, France, in the ABA and USBL.
The Tulsa native and Booker T. Washington high school graduate averaged career-bests of 12.7 points, 4.7 rebounds and 2.9 assists during his senior season with the Golden Hurricanes. He finished his career at TU averaging 10.4 points, 3.9 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.0 steals in 134 games. He was a member of the 2001 National Invitational Tournament Championship team and was named tournament MVP.
Hill will be in uniform tonight as the 66ers take on the Fort Wayne Mad Ants at the SpiritBank Event Center. He will wear jersey number 21.
