Colorado 14ers News Release
DENVER - February 27, 2009 - The Colorado 14ers announced today that forward Julian Sensley has returned for a second stint in Broomfield. Sensley fills the roster spot created when forward Jamar Brown was waived due to injury. He will wear number 00 and be available for the 14ers next game Saturday at Sioux Falls.
The 6-9 forward played seven games with the 14ers last season, averaging 16.7 points, 8.9 rebounds, and 2.7 assists per game. After his strong start the second year player from Hawaii suffered an ankle injury in practice that cost him the rest of the 2007-2008 season.
Julian has the unique distinction of being the only player drafted twice by the 14ers. He was a fourth round selection in Colorado's inaugural D-League Draft in 2006, but never participated in training camp due to a neck injury. In 2007, the 14ers again drafted Julian with the first pick of the third round.
