PEARL, MS - The Southern League of Professional Clubs have announced the participants for the 2018 Southern League All-Star Home Run Derby. Participants from the North Division will include: Zack Collins (Birmingham), Rudy Flores (Jackson), and Jamie Westbrook (Jackson.) Mississippi Braves infielder, Tyler Marlette will participate in the home run derby as a representative of the South Division. Joining Marlette as participants from the South Division will be Biloxi's Jake Gatewood and Pensacola's Aristides Aquino. Participants for the 2018 Southern League All-Star Home Run Derby are subject to change.
The 2018 Southern League All-Star Home Run Derby presented by Adamson Ford will begin at 5:00 PM (CST) on Tuesday, June 19 at Regions Field in Birmingham, AL. Gates will open at 4:30 PM (CST.) The format for the derby will include six participants and two rounds of batting. Each participant will be allotted seven outs in the first round and 5-10 outs in the final round depending on time.

in Diamonds Direct Ballroom at Regions Field
with special guest Ron Kittle, 1983 Rookie of the Year
