
2019 Kamloops Blazers Training Camp Schedule & Rosters

Kamloops, BC - The Kamloops Blazers 2019 Training Camp will start with registration on Wednesday, August 21st. On ice sessions will run from on Thursday, August 22nd until Sunday, August 25th.
The hockey club will have 87 players in attendance with all returning, listed and free agent players split into four teams that will compete for the 2nd annual Blazers Cup. The Blazers Cup will be awarded to the winner of the 1st vs. 2nd place game on August 25th.
The Blazers Cup is awarded annually at training camp. It is a representation of all the past alumni. This season, the four team names are Nolan Baumgartner, Hnat Domenichelli, Jason Holland and Ryan Huska.
The 2019-20 season marks the 25-year anniversary of the 1994-1995 Kamloops Blazers that hosted and won the Memorial Cup. The four training camp teams are named after players that were a part of that 1995 Memorial Cup team.
The training camp schedule will include practices from 8:00am-12:45pm and games from 4:00pm-7:45pm on August 23rd, 24th and 25th. Training camp will conclude with a 3rd vs. 4th place game on Sunday, August 25th at 8:30am and the 1st vs. 2nd place game at 10:30am.
Registration and ice sessions will all be held at the Sandman Centre. All ice sessions are open and free to attend for the public.
The Blazers will start their WHL preseason with two home games as they host the Victoria Royals on Saturday, August 31st at 7:00pm and the Kelowna Rockets on Sunday, September 1st at 2:00pm. Both games will be held at the Sandman Centre.
