
Hitmen Heading Outdoors for the Prairie Classic

Calgary, AB - The Calgary Hitmen today announced they will face the Regina Pats outdoors at Mosaic Stadium this fall in the Prairie Classic.
The Western Hockey League game in the Saskatchewan capital on Sunday, October 27 at 2 p.m. will be the second outdoor meeting between the two franchises who met eight years ago in WHL Outdoors at McMahon Stadium. The February 21, 2011 date in Calgary set a Canadian Hockey League attendance record drawing 20,888 fans.
The Prairie Classic is part of Tim Hortons NHL Heritage Classic Week which will also see a National Hockey League game between the Calgary Flames and Winnipeg Jets the previous day on Saturday, October 26.

"On behalf of the Calgary Hitmen organization, I would like to thank the Regina Pats for the invite to this memorable event. We look forward to sharing in our second outdoor experience with the Pats."
Tickets to the Hitmen and Pats outdoor game will go on sale August 29 at 10 a.m. at ticketmaster.ca. General seating for the event will be $18.50 which includes all fees and taxes.

"We have worked hard with our partners at Regina Exhibition Association Limited to make this possible. To be able to showcase our club outdoors at Mosaic Stadium will be an event no one will forget."
