WEST SACRAMENTO, CA - The Sacramento River Cats have announced their Opening Day roster in anticipation of the start of the 2018 regular season. The roster features an exciting mix of returning fan-favorites like Tyler Beede and Trevor Brown, top prospects Steven Duggar and Chris Shaw, and thrilling newcomers Tyler Herb and Kyle Jensen, among others.
The River Cats open regular season play Thursday, April 5 in Tacoma against the Rainiers, and their home opener is Tuesday, April 10 at 7:05 p.m. at Raley Field against the visiting Reno Aces. The River Cats' active roster will be reduced to 25 before the first regular season game.
