Central Valley Coyotes News Release
Fresno--The af2 league office in Chicago, IL released the official schedule for the 2008 season Tuesday, and the Central Valley Coyotes are set to kick off their fifth season.
The 2008 af2 season begins on March 28th, with the Coyotes opening up on the road against the Bossier-Shreveport Battle Wings March 29th at 5:05 pm. The Coyotes home opener will be on April 26th at 7:00 pm against their West Division rival, the Spokane Shock.
"We're definitely looking forward to this season," said Assistant Head Coach/Defensive Coordinator Derrick Chachere. "We have some unfinished business to take care of, and we can't wait to get 2008 started. After going to the second round of the playoffs last season with 17 rookies, we feel that this years team can do some big things."
The Central Valley Coyotes are a member of the af2's National Conference, and play in the West Division. The West consists of: The Boise Burn, the Central Valley Coyotes, the Spokane Shock, the Stockton Lightning, and the Tri-Cities Fever
