Hawaiian Islanders News Release
HONOLULU â The Hawaiian Islanders announced the selection of the eight-member Islanders Girls squad for 2004. Selected for their talent, beauty and crowd appeal, this elite group of professional ladies went through three rounds of interviews and the result is a perfect touch of "glitz and dazzle" at every Hawaiian Islanders game. Biographies and pictures of the Islanders Girls are located on the Hawaiian Islanders web site at www.hawaiianislanders.com.
The squad will make their first appearance this Saturday and Sunday at JN Chevrolet's Slash It sale from 11 a.m. to noon. Four of the eight girls will appear on Saturday while the rest will appear on Sunday.
The Islanders Girls have received national attention for their fresh, sassy style as well as their new look uniforms. Current plans call for a release of a video as well as a 2004-05 swimsuit calendar. Whether it's an autograph session, performance or appearance, the Islanders Dancers will exceed your expectations.
