MANCHESTER, N.H. (March 17, 2004) - The Manchester Wolves, New England's newest professional football team, will be holding an open tryout on Monday, March 22, for anyone interested in being the team's public address announcer or would like to sing the national anthem.

Both auditions will be held simultaneously from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. at the Palace Theatre, located on 80 Hanover Street in downtown Manchester.

In their search for a star public address announcer, the Wolves are looking for someone with a lot of energy, a good speaking voice and a great attitude. The lucky winner will also need to be dedicated to the task and serve as a team advocate throughout the greater New Hampshire region. All contestants will read from a prepared script. Anyone 18 or over who can keep a crowd going is eligible to compete for this paid position.

The Wolves are also looking for talented national anthem singers for their inaugural 2004 season. Monday's audition will be the perfect opportunity for aspiring singers to be heard by the Wolves organization. Solo performers or group acts are all welcome to attend. Show the Wolves you're a star in the making and earn an opportunity to perform in front of a capacity crowd at the Verizon Wireless Arena this summer.

The Wolves kick off their inaugural season in New Hampshire on Saturday, April 10 at 7:30 p.m. against the Quad City Steamwheelers at the Verizon Wireless Arena. That night will truly be historic as the Manchester Wolves host the first arena football game ever played at the Verizon Wireless Arena.
