2002-2003 Monarchs Regular Season Schedule Announced

Manchester, NH – The Manchester Monarchs, the AHL affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings, announced their 2002-2003 regular season schedule today. The Monarchs will play an unbalanced 80-game schedule featuring divisional and regional rivalries.

Half of the 80-game schedule will focus on North Division members. Those teams include the Lowell Lock Monsters (12 times), the Portland Pirates (10 times), division newcomer the Providence Bruins (10 times), and the Worcester IceCats (8 times). The remaining 40 games will be played against Eastern Conference members and three teams from the Western Conference.

Manchester will open their second season in the American Hockey League with the first game of a home and home series against the Lowell Lock Monsters on Friday, October 11 at the Verizon Wireless Arena. The Monarchs will then travel to Tsongas Arena to play Lowell for the back end of the home and home on Saturday, October 12.

Full season, half season, and 10-game packages are currently on sale and may be purchased by calling the Monarchs ticket department at (603) 626-7825. Individual tickets will be available for all Monarchs home games in late September.
