Monday, the North American Hockey League announced the Easton NAHL Stars of the Month (January). On the list for honorable mentions were two Aberdeen Wings players.
On the forward list was Wings rookie forward #11 TJ Roo (F-Coon Rapids, MN) who had a very impressive month. Throughout January, Roo scored 6 goals and 2 assists including two goals in a 5-3 loss to Austin back on January 17th.
Making the list of defensemen was Wings captain #4 Jake Horton (D-Plymouth, MN) who tallied 2 goals and 4 assists for January, including three assists against Austin back on January 4th in a 4-2 win.
