The Tri-City Storm hosts the Fargo Force twice this weekend to finish up a season-long four-game homestand at the Viaero Center. The Storm split the first leg of the stand and shut out Sioux Falls, 4-0, on Friday.

Tri-City presents Ag Appreciation Night, brought to you by Asera Care, this Friday at 7:05 p.m. The night honors local farmers and what makes central Nebraska great. It's also a $5 Kids Friday, presented by Kearney Taco Bell, where all kids 12 and under receive a voucher for a free taco and soft drink.

On Saturday, Storm brings you its annual Teddy Bear Toss, presented by Slumberland. Fans are encouraged to bring their own stuffed bears to throw on the ice after the Storm's first goal.

The Storm is 7th in the Western Conference with 39 points and sits three back of Omaha for sixth. Tri-City has faced conference foes in ten straight games.

Need to Know Dop under fire In two weekend games, Storm goalie Eric Dop made 68 of 72 saves and recorded his first league shutout, a 32-save performance Friday against Sioux Falls.

It is the second time in Dop's junior career he has shut out an opponent; on October 1, 2016 with Minot (NAHL), Dop made 32 saves against Aberdeen. Prior to this season, Dop spent his youth career with the Ohio Jr. Blue Jackets.

The 18-year-old has frequently been under fire, making at least 25 saves in 12 of 16 starts. When facing at least 30 shots, Dop is 2-4-3-1 in 10 games.

Teddy Bear Toss origins Tri-City will host its annual Teddy Bear Toss, presented by Slumberland, this Saturday against Fargo. All fans are encouraged to bring stuffed bears from home and throw them after the Storm's first goal. The stuffed bears will be donated to local charities.

The Teddy Bear Toss has origins in junior hockey. The WHL's Kamloops Blazers held the first on December 5, 1993 and Future NHL defensemen and two-time Stanley Cup Champion Brad Lukowich scored the goal that sparked the throwing.

Last season, the Storm's Carson Meyer scored the Teddy Bear Toss goal 37 seconds into the first, prompting a massive bear throw.

Foskey bringing the offense Jace Foskey has a goal and four points over his last four games, increasing his point total to nine (3g, 6a). A rookie from Southlake, Texas, Foskey recorded his first multi-point game Friday against Sioux Falls (1g, 1a) and had a career-best three-game point streak snapped Saturday.

The 6-foot-1, 181-lb. defenseman went without a point for the first 13 games of his career. Foskey scored his first goal against Lincoln on December 31, his 20th game. He has shown a knack for accuracy, scoring two goals on his last four shots.

Tri-City selected Foskey in the first round, 12th overall, of the 2016 USHL Phase I Draft. Foskey is the Storm's second-youngest player, born June 1, 2000. Wyllum Deveaux, who also scored Friday, was born August 30, 2000.

It's his first Forward Jonathan Bendorf was credited with his first point on Wyllum Deveaux's goal Friday against Sioux Falls. Bendorf celebrated his 18th birthday Sunday. The native of Yardville, New Jersey has skated in his first ten USHL game. The Storm acquired him from the Wichita Falls Wildcats on January 25.
