
1st Annual Syracuse Chiefs High School Baseball Classic at Alliance

Syracuse, NY--The Syracuse Chiefs, Triple-A affiliate of the Washington Nationals, are pleased to announce that they will host the 1st Annual High School Baseball Classic at Alliance Bank Stadium on Tuesday, June 15th at 7:00 PM.
Seniors from 19 area high schools will participate in a nine inning game and feature Bishop Ludden catcher John Rooney, Utica Proctor pitcher Steve Sarcone and Christian Brothers Academy outfielders Pat Weise and Shaun McGraw all of whom will play collegiate baseball at the Division I level next year.
The teams will be managed by former Major League players Steve Grilli and Mark Lukasiewicz.
The gates will open at 6:00 PM, admission is only $5 with children under 12 free.
