
1,000,000th Fan Expected Friday

LEXINGTON, Ky. - The Lexington Legends will reach another attendance milestone this week when they go over the 1,000,000 mark. The Lexington Legends all-time total now stands at 982,536. The Legends are averaging 4,988 per game this season and with 17,464 shy of 1,000,000, the Legends project the one-millionth fan to pass through the turnstiles on Friday, May 16th against Capital City.
The lucky person who becomes the 1,000,000th fan through the turnstiles at Applebee's Park this week will be showered with both confetti and gifts. The fan will receive a complete home heating and cooling system from Fayette Heating and Air Conditioning.
The Legends will also give the winner season tickets for the rest of the year, a luxury suite for the night, and a cap and a customized Legends jersey. The winner won't go hungry either. They'll receive coupons for free food from Applebee's, Damon's and Fazoli's. Clean Sweep Car Wash will honor the 1,000,000th fan with coupon good for a free car wash.
The Legends will host Augusta for a four game series through Thursday night. Lexington and Capital City will start a four game series on Friday evening. Game times are set for 7:05pm, gates open at 5:30pm.
The 1,000,000th fan will be just one of many milestones this season. On June 24th, the Legends will host the 2003 SAL All-Star game in its centennial season. Tickets are available for the midsummer classic at the Applebee's Park Box Office. Call 859-422-RUNS (7867) for more information.
