The Setup: Pigs Look to Extend Winning Streak

After a 6-2 victory last night, the Pigs can make it nine consecutive wins at Coca-Cola Park (and five straight overall) with a victory tonight.

PITCHING MATCHUP

Enyel De Los Santos goes for his team-high fifth win tonight against the Red Wings. Former Phillie farm hand Trevor May makes a Good Shepard rehab appearance at Coca-Cola Park. Tonight's starting pitching matchup is presented by Allentown Family Foot Care, which provides the latest in medical and surgical treatments of the entire foot and ankle. Learn more at affc.com.

De Los Santos has the best ERA in the IL with a 1.41. He's 4-1 on the year and ranks 6th in the IL with 44 strikeouts. May last pitched in the Phillies system in 2012 when he was the team's No. 1 prospect. He had Tommy John surgery back in March of 2017 and missed all of the 2017 season.

LAST NIGHT

Four home runs in lifted the Lehigh Valley IronPigs past the Rochester Red Wings 6-2 Monday at Coca-Cola Park. Trevor Plouffe hit his first home run as an IronPig while Drew Anderson (1-0) earned his first win of the season. Click here to read a full recap of last night's game.

HEAD-TO-HEAD

The IronPigs and Red Wings have played four games this season (three at Frontier Field) with the home team taking three of four. The IronPigs won last night's series opener to increase their IL North lead to 1.5 games. The teams will meet a total of 18 times in 2018.

The IronPigs lead the all-time season series 91-83 and last season took 13 of 22 from the Red Wings. The Pigs have not lost a season series to Rochester since 2015 when the Red Wings won 11 of 18 contests.

TONIGHT AT COCA-COLA PARK

It's Agriculture Night at Coca-Cola Park with 3,000 fans 18 and older receiving a Penn State Lehigh Valley IronPigs visor presented by UGI Utilities. Every Tuesday is a Lucky Ticket Tuesday presented by the PA Lottery at Coca-Cola Park. During tonight's game, four lucky fans will receive an IronPigs prize pack and a special gift from the PA Lottery for fans 18 and over.
