C Kevan Smith has been placed on the DL today by the Knights. Smith has appeared in 25 games with Charlotte this season and is hitting .283 (26-for-92) with 10 runs scored, four doubles, four home runs, and 14 RBIs this season with the Knights... C Brett Austin, who was placed on Charlotte's disabled list on April 25th (retroactive to April 23), was activated off the DL today. The Charlotte, NC native has appeared in two games with the Knights this season and is 1-for-5 at the plate.
