Stampede Acquires Charles Hinkle

Boise, IDAHO (March 18, 2015) - The Idaho Stampede have acquired guard Charles Hinkle from the available player pool. Hinkle is expected to be available tonight when Idaho hosts Texas, pending a physical.
Hinkle (6-6, 205, American) most recently played with the Los Angeles D-Fenders, appearing in six games at the beginning of the 2014-15 season. Hinkle appeared in 30 games internationally in 2012-13 with Sopron KC in Hungary and Istanbulspor in Turkey, averaging 14.2 points, 5.4 rebounds, 1.0 assists and 1.0 steals in 28.9 minutes per game.
The Cypress, Ca. native spent three seasons at Vanderbilt University (2007-2010) before transferring to American University. During his senior season at American, Hinkle started in 31 of the team's 32 games, averaging 18.5 points, 5.4 rebounds and 1.8 assists in 34.3 minutes per game. He was named to the All-Patriot League First Team in 2012.
The Stampede host the Texas Legends tonight at CenturyLink Arena at 7 p.m.
