
Austin Spurs Acquire Mouhamed Saer Sene

AUSTIN, TX (March 18, 2015) - The Austin Spurs, presented by SWBC, today announced they have acquired center Mouhamed Saer Sene (6-11, 270).
Sene has played overseas since 2009, most recently with the Sharks Antibes of France (2013) where he averaged 8.7 points and 5.7 rebounds in three games, and other teams including the Mad-Croc Fuenlabrada (12-13), Baloncesto Fuenlabrada (11-12), BCM Gravlines Dunkerque (10-11) and Hyeres-Toulon Var Basket (09-10).
He appeared in 52 NBA D-League games with the Idaho Stampede and Albuquerque Thunderbirds averaging 11.2 points and 8.8 rebounds in 26.7 minutes. Sene was drafted by the Seattle SuperSonics in the 2006 NBA Draft. He appeared in 47 total NBA games with the SuperSonics/Thunder and Knicks averaging 2.2 points and 1.6 rebounds in 5.5 minutes per game.
