Senators and Baysox Suspended Due to Rain

Monday's game between the Harrisburg Senators and Bowie Baysox was suspended due to rain in the bottom of the third inning with the Senators leading 6-0. The game will be resumed Tuesday night at 5:05 p.m. and completed to the full nine innings. Tuesday's originally scheduled game will now be a seven-inning contest which will begin approximately 30 minutes after the completion of the resumed game.

The Senators struck for four runs in the first inning against Bowie starter Michael Kelly. With two runners on base on a walk and a single, Juan Soto hit an RBI single to left. After another walk loaded the bases, Taylor Gushue took a walk which forced in a run. Kelly was removed from the game for reliever Luis Isla. With the bases still loaded, Zach Collier drove in a pair with a single to center to put the Senators ahead 4-0.

Osvaldo Abreu knocked a two-RBI double in the top of the third to give the Senators a 6-0 advantage.

Senators starter Jefry Rodriguez allowed just one hit and retired six of the seven Baysox batters through the first two innings.

The game was suspended in the bottom of the third with Martin Cervenka at the plate and nobody out.

The Senators box office is open Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Tickets are available via telephone during the same hours as the box office hours.
