Double the fun tonight at People's Natural Gas Field as the SeaWolves take on the Altoona Curve (Pittsburgh Pirates) in doubleheader action beginning at 4:30 p.m. Tonight will be the SeaWolves 24th and 25h doubleheader games this season (One PPD)...The SeaWolves look for three straight win over the wild card leading Curve. Erie has not won three straight in the season series against Altoona this season. Altoona's longest winning streak against Erie was three (4/13-4/23)...Righty Alfred Guiterrez takes the mound for Erie in game one making his sixth start since joining the 'Wolves from Lakeland. Gutierrez took a no-decision in his last start against New Hampshire on August 5. In the game, he allowed four runs on nine hits with two walks and six strikeouts in five innings of work. Erie lost the game on a walk-off, inside the park home run, 7-6. He is 0-1 against Altoona...Righty Christian Binford takes the mound for Erie in game two, making his third appearance and first start since coming over in a trade with the Orioles. Binford made seven starts for Double-A Bowie earlier this season and went 1-2 with a 4.95 ERA. He took a loss in his lone start against Altoona on July 18, allowing five runs on 10 hits in a season-high eight innings.
