
Baysox, Senators Suspended Due to Rain

BOWIE, Md.- Monday's game between the Bowie Baysox and the Harrisburg Senators was suspended in the bottom of the third inning due to heavy rain.
The game will resume on Tuesday, May 15 at 5:05 p.m. with a seven-inning contest to follow the completion of tonight's game. Gates will open at
Fans who have tickets dated for today's game, tickets marked with today's date of May 14th may exchange their tickets at any time at the Bowie Baysox ticket office located at Prince George's Stadium for an equal value ticket for any remaining Bowie Baysox home game during the 2018 regular season.
Harrisburg leads 6-0 with Martin Cervenka at the plate for the Baysox and nobody out in the home half of the third.
The Senators put up a four-spot in the first to grab an early 4-0 lead as Zach Collier delivered the big blow in the frame with a two-run single. The first five batters in the inning reached safely for Harrisburg courtesy of three walks and a pair of singles including an RBI single from Juan Soto.
Baysox starter Michael Kelly did not record an out and was charged with four runs on two hits to go along with three walks in the frame.
A pair of walks and a single loaded the bases for Harrisburg in the third before Osvaldo Abreu drove home a pair with a two-out, two-run double to stretch the lead to 6-0.

The Baysox ticket office is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on non-game days, until the top of the 7th inning on non-fireworks game days and at the end of the fireworks show on fireworks game days.
