CHARLESTON, SC - The RiverDogs return home to Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park after a seven-game road trip that saw Charleston travel to Greenville and Savannah. The team is playing outstanding ball and are currently atop of the South Atlantic League's South Division standings. The RiverDogs welcome the pesky Greenville Drive to The Joe for the first time in 2013. So far, Charleston is 5-3 against the Drive with all of the games being played at Flour Field in Greenville.
May 23, 7:05 pm: Thirsty Thursday / Operation Safewater. Enjoy the best happy hour with DJ Natty Heavy spinning the tunes in the Ashley View Pub with $1 drafts for Budweiser Thirsty Thursday, presented by 95SX. It is also Operation Safewater Night at The Joe, as we team with the Coast Guard to promote safe boating.
May 24, 7:05 pm: Red Shirt Friday/ Fireworks / Reading and Running with the RiverDogs. General Dynamic Land Systems-Force Protection Red Shirt Friday. Fans that wear red shirts to the box office will save $1 off your ticket OR donate that dollar to local charity Canines for Veterans. "Titus the Wonderdog" will be on hand to show off his batboy skills during the game. After the contest, we again light up the sky with Piggly Wiggly Postgame Fireworks. Also, students who have participated in our reading program will be in the park enjoying the game on Reading and Running with the RiverDogs Night. Friday games are presented by WEZL.
May 25, 6:05 pm: Craft Beer Saturday / Town of Summerville Night / Run Forest Run 5K. Enjoy a tasty selection of different craft beer specials including Leinenkugel Summer Shandy, Third Shift Amber Lager and more on tap. It's also Summerville Night at The Joe. The annual Run Forest Run 5K presented by Fleet Feet Sports will take place prior to the game with the finish line at home plate. Runners will be greeted at home plate by both RiverDogs and Greenville Drive players and coaches. Portions of the race proceeds will go towards the Boston Strong Fund. Saturday night is presented by WTAT Fox 24.
May 26, 5:05 pm: Charleston County Parks and Recreation Commission and Crews Subaru Kids Club Sunday presented by Y102.5. It's a Miller/Coors Aluminum Pint Nite, so enjoy specials at Joe's Bar & Grill on aluminum pints. Bring your dog to The Joe because it's another Dog Day There's FREE PARKING, Kid's Club members get in for FREE, plus all kids 12-under eat FREE as well (kids 12-under receive a coupon for a hot dog, drink and chips). There will be a pregame catch on the field, Reading with a RiverDogs player, plus postgame autographs with the entire team. Sunday's game is presented by CCPRC / Crews Subaru/ Y102.5.
