Last Game: Sacramento busted a scoreless game open with a six-run bottom of the fifth inning and went on to beat the RedHawks, 6-3. The River Cats only collected three singles during the big rally, but were aided by three walks, a hit batter, and three wild pitches. The last four runs scored with two outs. The RedHawks got all three of their runs courtesy of a Brett Wallace three-run homer in the eighth inning. River Cats starting pitcher Bruce Billings was phenomenal, allowing no runs and three hits with eight strikeouts over seven innings. RedHawks pitcher Jarred Cosart picked up his first loss after being charged with three runs and four hits over 4.1 innings.

Big 12 Big Trip: The RedHawks are in the middle of their annual 12-day road trip while the Big 12 Baseball Championship takes place at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. After this series, the RedHawks will continue onto Fresno then Des Moines, where they will play five games in four days to make up for an earlier postponement against the Iowa Cubs. Through the first three games they are 1-2.

Starting Line: Over the first three games of this series, RedHawks starting pitchers have combined to go just 12.2 innings, with no start lasting longer than 4.1 IP.
