Abbotsford Heat Announce Country Night

Abbotsford, BC - The Abbotsford Heat, in partnership with 93.7 JRFM radio, are pleased to announce that "Country Night" will take place at the Abbotsford Entertainment & Sports Centre (AESC) on Friday, February 22, 2013. The Heat will play the Charlotte Checkers (AHL affiliate of the Carolina Hurricanes) in the first of a two game series, with puck-drop scheduled for 7:00 PM PST.
Country Night will feature the Heat's fourth "Loonie, Toonie, Dog N' Brew" night of the season - fans can purchase hotdogs for one dollar and beer for two dollars. Fans can purchase a ticket, a hotdog and a beer for only $18! Grab your gang, your ten-gallon hat and support the Heat!
The evening's game night sponsor, 93.7 JRFM, will kick off the party at the Main Entrance with their JRFM Fiesta Bar, as well as line dancing demonstrations from the Gabby's Girls Dance Team. These ladies have been kicking up their heels for the past eight years at many of B.C's largest fairs and music festivals including the Cloverdale Rodeo, Merritt Mountain Music Fest, Peachfest, and the Rockin' River Music Festival. There will also be country music performances during breaks in play.
The following night, February 23, fans will have a chance at winning a new 2013 Honda Fit courtesy of the Honda Way Abbotsford. For your chance to win, enter at the Honda Way display in section 101 of the concourse.
