Montreal Impact Unveils Its 2013 Broadcast Schedule

MONTREAL - The Montreal Impact unveiled on Tuesday its complete 2013 MLS broadcast schedule. Once again this year, all regular season games will be televised live, with 22 of 34 games on TVA Sports, the team's official broadcast partner, and 12 more on RDS and TSN, the league's official broadcasters.

TVA Sports will carry the team's first two games of the season, in Seattle on March 2, at 10:30pm (ET) and in Portland on March 9 at 10:30pm (ET). Eleven of the team's first 14 games will be televised on TVA Sports, including the matchup against Thierry Henry and the New York Red Bulls on March 23, at 4:30pm (ET), at Olympic Stadium. TVA Sports will also televise the matchup versus Robbie Keane, Landon Donovan and the LA Galaxy at Home Depot Center, on April 6 at 10:30pm (ET), In addition, the game against Real Salt Lake on May 11 at 2pm (ET) will be broadcast on TVA's main network.

RDS and TSN will broadcast the official home opener at Olympic Stadium on March 16 against Toronto FC at 4pm (ET), as well as the first home game at Stade Saputo, on April 13 at 2pm (ET), against the Columbus Crew. RDS and TSN will also be in New York to broadcast the game versus the Red Bulls on July 13 at 7pm (ET), as well as the game against the Vancouver Whitecaps FC, on September 21 at 2pm (ET) at Stade Saputo. The 12 games will be broadcast on the main network for RDS, while nine of the dozen matchups will be on TSN, with the three remaining games on TSN2. There will be a 30-minute pre-game show prior to every game on RDS.

The match on April 27 at 4pm (ET) against the Chicago Fire will also be broadcast on the NBC Sports Network, a national sports broadcaster in the U.S.

TVA Sports will have Frédéric Lord as its play-by-play man, while Olivier Brett reprises his role as analyst. On RDS, Claudine Douville (play-by-play) and Jean Gounelle (analyst) will bring you the action, along with Patrick Leduc and Michel Y. Lacroix. Luke Wileman (play-by-play) and former Canadian international Jason de Vos (analyst) will call the games for TSN.
