
Countdown to Face-Off: K-Wings at Cincinnati Cyclones

It will be a divisional affair from the Queen City, as the Kalamazoo Wings travel to U.S. Bank Arena to battle the Cincinnati Cyclones. On the season, the K-Wings are 0-2-0-0 against the Cyclones, which includes a 3-2 loss on Halloween in their last visit to Cincinnati.
Trying to get back on track, the K-Wings will conclude a three-game road trip by attempting to snap a three-game winless streak (0-2-1-0). With 19 points, Kalamazoo begins the night tied in third place in the North Division with the Fort Wayne Komets.
Leading the North Division by a single point over the Toledo Walleye, the Cyclones hit the ice not only looking to increase their lead in the division, but to extend a streak. Entering tonight, Cincinnati has won three straight games at the U.S. Bank Arena.

Roster Moves
Forward Alexandre Mallet was reassigned to the team on Tuesday, while defenseman Mike Matczak was returned on loan from the Manchester Monarchs on Thursday. On Wednesday, the K-Wings released forward Cody Crichton.

Forward Kory Karlander has earned points in six straight games. The six-game point streak ties Karlander with Sam Ftorek and Eric Kattelus for the longest point streak by a K-Wings player this season.
